Christmas decor is one of my favorite parts of the holiday season. I like to start decorating immediately after Thanksgiving. Like, the next day. While I have collected a large store of Christmas decor over the years, I’m always looking for inspiration for DIY project ideas. For that I like to consult my good friend Etsy. There is such a large variety of unique Etsy Christmas decor available. The bonus is supporting small business when I shop there!
Seventeen Gorgeous Etsy Christmas Decor Ideas
During my perusing, I’ve collected a variety of Etsy Christmas decor ideas that I love. Some are things that I’m going to try and make myself. Others are things I’d like to add to my own Christmas collection. I’m sharing them all with you here in the hopes that you’ll be inspired. Enjoy!
Waldorf Wooden Trees
I love the look of these Christmas trees. They aren’t your typical Christmas tree decorations and remind me of the claymation Christmas shows we watched as kids. Love these!
Believe Wooden Letters
These Believe wooden letters are a great addition to a mantel or a shelf. Plus it’s always important to Believe in the magic and spirit of Christmas no matter your age!
Believe Wooden Word Art
This Believe wooden word art is another gorgeous yet simple Christmas decoration. The cursive letters curling around, while simple, really provide an elegant charm to the season!
Farmhouse Red Truck
If you are a fan of vintage Christmas decor, this farmhouse truck is for you! The monogram on the door adds a subtle personalization to the truck without going overboard. The tiny presents in the back of the truck are a sweet little touch as well!
Grown Up Santa Sleigh Sign
Similar to the Believe signs, you’re never too grown up to search the skies on Christmas Eve. I like the message of this sign in that it reminds you to always believe in a little magic.
Joy Wooden Letters
These gorgeous J-O-Y letters are such a simple yet classic Christmas decoration. You can dress them up or down with greenery, berries, or bows. They provide a good decor foundation to the mantelpiece!
Joy Wooden Sign
This is an easy sign to make using a Cricut machine. Find a font you like, cut out “joy” and apply it to the wood of your choice. If you don’t want to get your craftiness on, Etsy will hook you up!
Joyeux Noel Sign
This is also an easy sign to make with the Cricut. It’s a simple concept for a sign but it provides a nice decor foundation. You can surround the sign with greenery, pinecones, ornaments, or whatever other decor you like. Another example of simple but classic Christmas decor!
Let It Snow Wall Art
This is a sweet piece of wall art. You could easily make this sign with the Cricut as well, personalizing the surrounding decor. Along with snowflakes you can use whatever other designs you’d like. I like their use of different sized dots. You could even use different colors of dots if you want to make it even more colorful. Opportunities about with this sign!
Letter to Santa Wooden Sign
I love this letter to Santa sign. It’s so sweet yet simple. I’m in the process of making one myself right now so I’ll be sure to share my end result when it’s finished. In the meantime, Etsy has it ready for you now!
May You Never Be Too Grown Up Sign
Here is another take on the May You Never Be Too Grown Up sign. This sign has a bit more of a rustic feel to it, with the Santa and reindeer being a bit more roughly drawn. I love the frame they used for it, as well as the very subtle aging of the paper it’s printed on!
Merry Christmas Planter Box
This planter is adorable! This is another one that would be easy to replicate with a Cricut. Just get a planter box, size and color of choice, print out “merry Christmas” in whatever fonts you’d like, and apply! Fill the planter with whatever Christmas greenery, bows, pinecones, or other decor you have around. Pretty, simple, yet classic Christmas decor!
Needle Felted Christmas Mouse
I love this little guy. He would look so cute on my fireplace mantel! I love the simplicity of it, yet it also has a certain realness as well. The scarf and ornaments give it just the right punch of colors!
Santa Sack
If you have little ones at home, or even if you don’t, these Santa Sacks are a great alternative to wrapping paper or gift bags. You can reuse these year after year. Friendly to the environment and a good keepsake to pass down the generations!
Vintage Ho Ho Ho Wooden Christmas Decoration
I love wood carved signs like this. The lights used really bring this design to life. I love the motion and look of this piece!
Winter Wonderland Round Sign
This Winter Wonderland sign is a classic Christmas decoration. You can use it as a wreath or as a wall decoration. It has just the right mix of colors and decor additions. You could easily make something similar with a Cricut, just need to find a wooden board to use as the base (or cut one yourself). Either way, this would be a fun project!
Wooden Christmas Presents
I love these wooden Christmas presents! They would look adorable as part of front porch decorations! You could easily make these as well. Just get three boards of differing sizes, paint and weather them, then use a ribbon to tie them up like Christmas presents. Finally, garnish them with greenery, berries, or other holiday decor!
